Marathon had another busy summer installing Sport Courts, Running Tracks, Elastic Layers and Rubberized Safety Surfacing.


Pickle Ball Transformation

The City of Abbottsford contracted Marathon Surfaces to convert two tennis courts at Jubilee Park into eight pickle ball courts. Marathon transformed an underutilized facility into a pickle ball hub for Valley residents.


Track Facilities Upgrades

Collingwood School in West Vancouver and the City of Grand Prairie upgraded their long jump and training facilities with the installation of IAAF approved Spurtan BV.


Futsal Anyone?

Brennan Park Recreation Centre in Squamish now have a state of the art mini pitch which will provide local youth with a safe and accessible place to play.

Marathon expanded its line of acrylic surfacing with the introduction of the Laykold Master Systems.  The Master Series features the next generation of court technology.

Elastic Layer

Marathon was pleased to have the opportunity to supply and install a 35mm duel lift Elastic Layer for Carpell Surfaces at the FIH certified field hockey pitch at Oak Meadows Park in Vancouver.

Marathon Goes Fishing!

Marathon received a design request from the City of Coquitlam for fish to be incorporated into their Como Lake playground.  That design request resulted in a unique three dimensional fish with animated expressions cresting the blue rubber. These design oriented mounds add a third dimension to the playground surface.
